Cohort II Portfolio

We have learned quite a bit from from our first fund. Over the years, we have refined our investment philosophy, but we still believe strongly that there are many great early-stage opportunities here in Colorado. Our second fund is a Colorado-centric fund focused on Seed through Series A investments.

Colorado

Our primary focus has been, and will continue to be to invest in companies that seek to build and grow their businesses in Colorado and who also want to give back to this community. However, we will make room in our portfolio for great teams, building innovative companies, regardless of where they are, if there is a good fit.

INITIAL INVESTMENTS AT SEED STAGE

Companies typically have MVP or first product/service and have assembled key management team. Seeing first revenues, but have not turned a profit yet. Investments support continued product development and initial marketing.

Our focus is on helping those companies refine their business, make critical hires, pivot when necessary and to grow the metrics needed to raise their first institutional round of venture capital. 

FOLLOW-ON INVESTMENTS AT SERIES A

Companies typically have found product-market-fit. Consistent/growing reoccurring revenue. Consistently meeting/exceeding milestones. Investments support scaling marketing, distribution, and customer support; product/service enhancements; expansion into new verticals.

We have started to make investments in Portfolio II, and we will be adding many more great companies soon.
